Prayer

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6

Jesus said that the church is to be a “house of prayer for all nations.” Meaning, the church is to be known as a place of prayer.

Prayer is foundational and the lifeblood of the church. It’s in our vulnerability before God where we lift all things to Him and are met with rest, comfort, and peace. It’s when we pray that we declare that God is in control over all things. Prayer is a display of faith and dependance and shows that God holds our lives in His hands and knows best and what we need most of all.
